Billie Jean Mounts is Director of Reimbursement for Health Management Associates, Inc. of Naples, Florida. Ms. Mounts is responsible for the oversight of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement for 60 acute care hospitals located throughout the United States, with 18 hospitals located in Florida. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, monthly reviews of third party contractual allowances, filing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, and analyzing impacts of federal and state regulation changes. Ms. Mounts is also co-chairperson of the Corporate RAC Steering Committee and executed a successful education program companywide to prepare hospitals for RAC requests. Ms. Mounts has been with the company since July 2000. Previous to that, Ms. Mounts worked as a Medicare auditor for a fiscal Intermediary located in Connecticut.
Ms. Mounts is currently a student in the Master of Healthcare Administration program at Florida Gulf Coast University located in Fort Myers, Florida and has her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Bryant University located in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Ms. Mounts resides in Bonita Springs, Florida with her husband Daniel.
She also serves as the Director of Education and Program Chair for the Florida Chapter of the Healthcare Finance Management Association.

Curt Pace began his career in healthcare as a Business Office Manager for a large hospital in the Southeastern U.S. Since that time, Mr. Pace has over twenty years of experience in providing receivables management and financial services to hospitals throughout the U.S.
Mr. Pace attended both Anderson University and Clemson University and has a degree in Marketing. He has been a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association since 1987.

Mike has over 18 years of healthcare revenue cycle sales and management experience. This experience includes workflow process evaluation for hospitals and clinics, as well as sales and marketing of a wide variety of healthcare revenue cycle technology products and services, including denial management and recovery. Mike is a former V.P. of Sales for HBS, a Denial Recovery Services firm, and a former Area V.P. of Sales for CareMedic Systems, Inc., responsible for sales of revenue cycle technology and services in the Eastern U.S. Prior to CareMedic, he was the Manager of EDI Services at BlueCross BlueShield of GA where he led an internal and external team responsible for electronic claim submission, electronic remittances, as well as on-line eligibility and referral processes.

As the current Relationship Manager for the Florida Healthcare Banking Group Doug oversees all the relationships the Bank handles for the non-profit healthcare industry in the state of Florida. Management of the relationships includes oversight and management advisory services, financial and operational consulting, and mergers and acquisitions. Experiences include debt structuring, consulting, and strategic planning. Primary among clients are acute care facilities, large senior housing complexes, and HMOs.
