With the recent postponement and cancellation of upcoming HFMA live education, chapter leader training and local chapter and regional events, HFMA is implementing a certification maintenance grace period for all active CHFPs and Fellows with a due date of May 31, 2020. The maintenance deadline will be extended from May 31, 2020 to October 1, 2020 for eligible CHFPs and Fellows. HFMA will work with certified members on a case-by-case basis if they are unable to meet the requirement by the extended due date.

On Friday, March 20, 2020, an email was distributed to CHFPs and Fellows providing further details on the 2020 maintenance due date change.
